Our wonderful small town library is looking for your support. On Dec. 19th we received devastating news that our library had to close for the health and safety of its patrons and staff. It turned out to be a large mold issue within the HVAC system. The Town and Library staff worked hard to make the space safe and ready to open to the public. Unfortunately, this issue caused us to lose approximately 2,000 books and the insurance has given us no money towards the replacement of these items.
We are so grateful to the community in Greene County as they have already stepped up to help. We had a wonderful soup night at Left Bank Cider and many volunteers helping us put the library back together. If you are looking for a way to help we have a few options.
1.Donate Via Zeffy
2. Shop our Apparel Line Via Zeffy Or In-Person At The Library
3. Shop Our Amazon Wish List
This wish list contains books that we lost due to the mold, books we think are good replacements for books no longer in print that we lost to the mold and books that we are looking to purchase upcoming. It contains options in all genres, age groups, and price ranges. If you leave us a note with your book purchase as to who you would like your purchase dedicated to we will put in a book plate.
4. Bring Donations
We accept gently used books during our open hours. Whatever we can not use we give to our friends group to sell at their book Sales.
